Mazraoui departs Atlas Lions camp
A report on Nasir Mazraoui's absence from the friendly match between the Moroccan national team and their Malian counterpart, following his injury during the match against Lesotho in the Africa Cup of Nations 2027 qualifiers. His absence comes after receiving permission from coach Mohamed Howbi to leave the camp and return to England for a medical assessment due to the injury, which raised concerns among his club Manchester United's medical staff. His place will be taken by Anas Salah El-Din in the defensive lineup, providing an opportunity to test and evaluate his abilities in preparation for upcoming competitions. The match also gives the coach a chance to review defensive options and expand the selection pool in the absence of the team's key players.
