Agadir maritime sector gains new leadership
The Royal Armed Forces of Morocco have undergone widespread changes in recent days, including new appointments to leadership positions within the maritime sector in the southern region. The command of the southern maritime sector has been assigned to Admiral Saeed Zbakhah, while Captain Hassan Hasnaoui, a distinguished naval officer, has been appointed as an assistant officer to the commander of the Central Maritime Sector. These appointments are part of a plan to redistribute responsibilities and refresh leadership roles, coinciding with the retirement of several officers starting at the end of 2026.
