Moroccan Book Prize nominations open
The Ministry of Youth, Culture, and Communication has announced the opening of nominations for the Morocco Book Awards for 2026. These awards include various categories such as poetry, fiction, humanities and social sciences, literary and artistic studies, translation, Amazigh literature, Amazigh culture, and children's and youth literature. Moroccan authors who published their books in 2025 are eligible to apply, provided that the work has not previously won the award in the past three years and that the number of authors does not exceed two. The awards include financial support of 1.9 billion dirhams for transportation professionals. This represents an important opportunity for Moroccan writers, critics, and translators to enhance their literary and cultural productions.
