The Anti-Gang Unit in El Oued managed to apprehend a 35-year-old individual involved in the manufacture and promotion of “Māʼ al-Hayāh” (a type of alcoholic beverage). They seized five liters of the alcohol intended for distribution. During a search of his residence, authorities found 457 liters of alcohol and raw fermented materials, along with traditional distillation equipment.
