FIFA releases updated Black player rankings
The Morocco national football team dropped one spot in the FIFA World Ranking, published by the International Football Federation (FIFA), to become the 7th best team in the world with a score of 1805.34 points, down from 6th place in the previous ranking. This decline came after the team drew with Mali in their recent friendly match, despite temporarily being in 5th place following their wins in the World Cup qualifiers against Gabon and Lesotho. On the African and Arab levels, the Moroccan team remains at the top of the standings, outperforming other African nations such as Senegal, Egypt, and Algeria. The next ranking is scheduled to be released on November 18, 2026.
