Students block Louvre access in Paris
This morning, Paris witnessed a demonstration organized by students and pupils in front of the Louvre Museum, where they blocked the entrances to prevent visitors from entering in solidarity with their colleagues participating in protests last weekend. Participants carried banners criticizing restrictions on student freedom of expression and demanding that their demands be addressed, which caused traffic disruptions and halted ticket sales for a few hours. Police forces were deployed to secure the site without any major violence occurring, while the museum management monitored the situation to organize entry procedures for the rest of the day.
