Cafe waiter held over minor assault in Al Hoceima
A waiter at a café in Al Hoceima was detained in connection with his involvement in luring a girl approximately ten years old and subjecting her to sexual acts. The suspect took advantage of the girl’s ignorance, falsely portraying himself as a taxi driver, and transported her in a private vehicle instead of using public transportation. After the girl failed to return on time, her sister found her and notified the authorities. An investigation was launched, which led to the identification of the suspect. Authorities continue their efforts to uncover all the circumstances and motives behind the case. The suspect is presumed innocent until a final court verdict is reached.
