Brazil decorated Morocco’s ambassador to Brasília, Nabil Daghoughi, with the Order of Aeronautical Merit at the rank of Grand Officer. President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva bestowed the honor in recognition of Daghoughi’s efforts to strengthen relations and cooperation between the two countries. Daghoughi received the award at an official ceremony at Brasília Air Base, held to coincide with the 120th anniversary of the founding of the Brazilian Air Force. The ambassador said Morocco looked forward to developing the bilateral partnership, particularly in defense cooperation and defense industries. He also noted that the commander of the Brazilian Air Force would take part in the Marrakech Air Show from October 7 to 11.
