Sufis Celebrate Unity Day
The Samadiyya Shadhiliyya Mashishiyya Sufi order marked National Unity Day on Saturday evening with a gathering of dhikr and spiritual instruction at its center in Inzegane. Disciples from Morocco and abroad attended, along with the order’s sheikh, Sidi Mohammed Larbi Samadi. The gathering featured invocations and blessings upon the Prophet, lessons on love of the homeland and its core principles, Qur’an recitation in the Soussi style known as “Tahzabt,” and devotional chanting and praise—affirming the values of unity, solidarity, and loyalty to the homeland.
