The "Muslim Community Association in Melilla" complains about the long waiting times at the border crossings with Nador, where the wait can last for several hours. They highlight the impact this has on vulnerable groups such as the elderly, pregnant women, and patients. The association called on Moroccan authorities to take urgent measures to improve crossing conditions, especially with the upcoming launch of the "Marhaba" operation, which is expected to see a large influx of expatriate community members from June 15 to September 15.
