Nador West Med Builds Second High-Voltage Line

The National Office of Electricity and Water (ONEE) announced the commissioning of a second high-voltage line (225 kilovolts) at the "Nador West Med" port to support the area's power supply, a year after the launch of the first line in May 2024. This project aims to enhance energy security and ensure the continuous supply of electricity to the port and the surrounding industrial zone, meeting the increasing electricity demand to support investments, logistics development, and industrial growth. The project was carried out through technical coordination and support from local authorities and is part of a strategic plan to develop the electrical infrastructure in the eastern region.
