Questions Surrounding the Agriculture Minister

Mustafa Ramid, a former leader of the Justice and Development Party, has decided to leave party politics. However, he continues to express political positions through his writings, despite previous criticisms of his performance during his time as a minister. He should have resigned out of respect for the dignity of prisoners, especially following the leak of an insulting video of Nasser Zefzafi, the leader of the Rif movement, in 2017, for which many called on him to apologize. Recently, Ramid also criticized government interventions in the meat market and in elections, demanding the resignation of the Minister of Agriculture, although he did not address issues related to other relevant sectors. Observers believe that his stance indicates he remains concerned with the political scene despite stepping back from party work.
