Moroccans Released from Algeria Before Holiday

Twenty-one Moroccans were deported from Algeria. The border town of Oujda received a new batch of deportees before Eid al-Adha, all of whom are men and have completed their sentences. This is the seventh batch since the beginning of 2026. Organizations continue to follow over 500 cases of Moroccans detained or held in Algeria, amid warnings that some families are exploiting the situation in exchange for money.
