Pilgrims gather at Arafat for Hajj's key rite

Pilgrims to the House of God began to gather at Mount Arafat on Tuesday, wearing their white Ihram garments, in preparation to perform the Rukun (pillars) of Hajj. They spent the night in Mina before this. The smooth flow of movement and precise organization of the Hajj rituals were notable, coinciding with the arrival of large numbers of pilgrims.
