FIFA secures US visa for Iran team

The Iranian Minister of Sports confirmed that FIFA has promised to grant the Iranian national team visas to enter the United States to participate in the World Cup this summer, despite the ongoing tensions and war in the Middle East. The minister explained that FIFA's president assured him of facilitating visas for all our players, and that the Iranian team will base itself in Tijuana, Mexico during the tournament, with expectations of obtaining multiple visas issued by the United States. The world’s attention is now focused on the tournament's kickoff on June 11, in which Iran will compete in Group B.
