Morocco and Spain plan to handle over 3.5 million in Operation Hello 2026
Morocco and Spain are preparing for the "Barcadi 2026" operation, during which over 3.5 million people and 800,000 vehicles are expected to cross between Spanish ports and Morocco from June 15 to September 15, representing a 3% increase compared to last year. The meetings focused on enhancing coordination to facilitate passage, with an implementation plan based on organizing maritime transport, improving security and health measures, increasing human resources by 10%, and adopting a digital system to track the movement of travelers and vehicles. These measures aim to reduce waiting times and congestion, while also inviting the Moroccan community abroad to purchase their tickets in advance.
