Morocco Faces Ongoing Heatwave

Morocco continues to face a severe heatwave, with temperatures exceeding 40°C in several regions, especially in the eastern part, the Moulouya Valley, and the southern provinces. Forecasts indicate that hot weather will persist and temperatures may rise further during the weekend. Temperature levels vary between the interior areas, which are experiencing a significant increase, and the coasts, which remain milder thanks to the influence of the Atlantic Ocean. Weather predictions also include the appearance of low clouds and fog along the coasts, with strong gusts of wind that may stir up dust in dry and semi-desert areas. However, a slight decrease in temperatures is expected to begin starting from Monday.
