Spanish report: Migration surges in Melilla and Ceuta

Melilla has experienced a significant increase in irregular migration flows, with a 46% rise in border crossing attempts compared to last year, totaling 3,559 cases. Meanwhile, Ceuta registered the highest number of irregular migrants, amounting to 3,268 cases, which doubles the pressure on their border crossings. This occurs despite an overall 30% decline in irregular migration nationwide since the beginning of the year.
