Candidate to succeed Polisario leader killed in drone strike
The son of the former Polisario leader, Lahbib Ould Mohammed Abdel Aziz, was killed in a drone strike carried out by the Moroccan Royal Army. The drone targeted an SUV bearing a license plate from Tindouf camps, and this operation was among those detected by Moroccan radars in the Qilibat Fula area. The fate of the former leader's son remains unclear, with reports suggesting his involvement in attacks against Moroccan forces, while rumors circulate that he has a chance to succeed Ibrahim Gali as a leader within Polisario.
