Moroccan Ziyech faces World Cup absence
The Moroccan national team received a major blow ahead of the 2026 World Cup after its forward Abdessamad Zlzlouli sustained an injury to his right knee ligaments, which could prevent him from participating in the opening match against Brazil. His injury will be precisely diagnosed after ongoing examinations, but it is expected that he will be sidelined for two to three weeks. This presents the coach with a challenge in selecting a suitable replacement for the attacking line.
