Court sentences defendants to ten years for forcing child to drink alcohol
Three individuals were sentenced to ten years in prison in the "Child of Alcohol" case in Ben Slimane city, after encouraging a minor to consume a substance suspected to be intoxicating. The court sentenced the main defendant to four years, the second participant to three and a half years, and the third to three years, with symbolic compensation to the association that advocates for children's rights. The decision followed an investigation into a viral video showing siblings forcing a six-year-old child to drink an alcoholic beverage, which sparked widespread outrage and led to the arrest of the defendants.
