Government forms committees for medical regulation

Oman announced the issuance of a ministerial decree granting employees in the South Sharqiya Governorate the status of judicial officers to strengthen the enforcement of media laws and regulate professional practices. The country also expanded the powers of municipal councils as part of a vision aimed at enhancing performance and meeting community aspirations. Additionally, vacant training opportunities were announced at the Medical City, along with the organization of two committees dedicated to medical legislation. Furthermore, cooperation with Kazakhstan was intensified through economic partnership initiatives following the localization of 12 projects and an investment of 220.2 million riyals in the food security sector. Oman continues its efforts to overcome weather and security challenges, as reports of rains and weather conditions improve.
