Reclaimed water boosts Oman lemon farming

The article focused on supporting the use of recycled water for lemon cultivation in the Al Batinah region of Oman, after eight years of experimentation. The campaign saw the participation of about 26 farmers and 13 divers, aiming to enhance production and improve the water quality used in agriculture. Additionally, the Environment Authority in North Al Batinah launched the first phase of coral reef development along the coasts of Sohar, with the goal of protecting marine life. Meanwhile, Omani company Asyad implemented 130 projects, with 81% of the value of its contracts directed towards local institutions and companies.
