Gaza reports 9 deaths in 24 hours as occupation seals West Bank and Gaza
During a 24-hour period, the Gaza Strip saw the death of nine Palestinians and injuries to others due to violations by the Israeli occupation army of the ceasefire. The occupation attempted to assassinate Hamas leader in Gaza, Ali Al-Amoudi, which resulted in a massacre that claimed the lives of five martyrs in Gaza. As part of the escalation, Israel imposed a comprehensive closure on the West Bank and Gaza crossings on October 5 and 7, coinciding with the anniversary of the October 7, 2023 operation, aiming to restrict Palestinian movement in the area.
