Omani Proposal for Gulf Environmental Center

The activities of the Sultanate of Oman have focused on environmental issues. It participated in the 37th Ministerial Meeting of the Arab Ministers Responsible for Environmental Affairs in Cairo. The Ministry of Environment in Sahar is implementing the first phase of coral reef development along its coasts. Additionally, Oman has proposed the establishment of a Gulf Center for Environmental Studies and Climate Change. The Environment Authority also launched the "Zero Paper" campaign to reduce paper consumption by 91% by mid-2026, aiming to lessen the environmental impact.
