Foundation of Omani Genomics laid

The Ministry of Health in the Sultanate of Oman celebrated the laying of the foundation stone for the National Genome and Human Data Center (Omani Genome) in Al Seeb Wilayat, Muscat Governorate, at a cost of over 4.2 million Omani rials. The center aims to enhance scientific research and genetic medicine in the Sultanate and is considered an important step toward developing national capabilities in genomics and health data.
