Omani Firms Win Gulf Industrial Award

Some domestic companies in Oman have been announced as winners of the Gulf Industrial Excellence Award, aiming to enhance the quality of national products. Additionally, a committee headed by the Director General of Traffic has been formed to update procedures for driving licenses and truck requirements to avoid penalties and suspension. The Ministry of Labor has issued guidelines regarding the procedures to follow when a violation is detected at a facility, in order to prevent fines and closure. In a related development, the relevant authorities announced alternative routes to alleviate congestion on the Muscat Expressway following a malfunction that disrupted traffic flow.
