Sea conditions influence Cyclone Shaheen path

Dr. Kawthar Al-Balushi from the Sultanate of Oman was honored with the Gulf Cooperation Council Medal in Bahrain, in recognition of her scientific contributions to the study of how sea temperature and terrain influence the formation, path, and intensity of Cyclone "Shaheen," according to a study conducted at Sultan Qaboos University. The study successfully identified the roles of climatic and geographical factors in shaping the cyclone's characteristics, thereby enhancing the scientific understanding of climate change and weather-related disasters.
