Oman electricity output rises 4.3%

Total electricity production in the Sultanate of Oman increased by 4.3% by the end of August 2026, reaching 37,481.8 gigawatt-hours, compared to 35,935.3 gigawatt-hours during the same period in 2025. This growth is attributed to increased demand for electricity and expansion of the country's production capacity.
