New National Risk Framework Impact on Government Readiness

The Ministry of Labor in Oman, in collaboration with the National Risk Registry, has launched the National Framework for Enterprise Risk Governance with the aim of enhancing the national governance system and increasing the readiness of government institutions to face future challenges. The framework focuses on proactively developing risk management practices by identifying risks, monitoring their sources, and assessing their impacts, along with mechanisms to escalate risks when necessary and strengthen coordination between different sectors. The goal is to enhance decision-making based on accurate risk assessment, ensure the continuity of services, and protect national achievements, in line with the objectives of Oman Vision 2040.
