Global poverty reaches 1.2 billion

According to United Nations estimates, 74.3% of the population in Palestinian territories suffer from poverty. Meanwhile, the Ministry of Labor has launched a unified national framework for risk management aimed at reducing poverty rates and improving social protection. Additionally, the United Nations announced that global poverty has increased for the first time since 2010, reaching 1.2 billion people, reflecting the deterioration of global economic conditions.
