European-Asian Stock Union Explores Emerging Markets and Fintech

The Sultanate of Oman, represented by Muscat Stock Exchange, hosted the European-Asian Stock Exchanges Union Conference 2026. The conference discussed the development of capital markets, accelerating access to emerging markets, and the latest technological advancements in the financial sector. The event featured four main sessions on regional cooperation, investment opportunities and challenges in emerging markets, technological innovations in trading and regulation, and strengthening investor relations. The goal of the event was to enhance Oman's position as an international financial hub, expand collaboration with global markets and financial institutions to improve the attractiveness of the Omani market, and support its vision for sustainable economic development in line with "Oman 2040."
