Review of 28 studies on Omani Prophetic Biography
The Second International Omani Forum, organized by the Islamic University of Malaysia, focuses on the biography of Prophet Muhammad in Omani heritage. It covers four main themes: Islam among the people of Oman, Omani writings on the science of seerah (the Prophet's biography), patterns of recalling the Prophet’s life in literature, and the use of modern techniques to support the study of the Prophet's biography. The forum features five sessions presenting 28 research papers by 36 scholars from various countries. Its goal is to strengthen the historical ties between Oman and Malaysia. The event is accompanied by exhibitions highlighting Oman's cultural history and its cultural relations with Malaysia.
