Duqm SEZ road project awarded

The article focuses on the development of the road network in the Duqm Special Economic Zone. The Public Authority for Special Economic Zones and Free Zones has awarded a project valued at over 13.8 million Omani riyals, which includes the construction of approximately 30 kilometers of branching roads. The aim is to enhance connectivity between sites and facilitate access. The project seeks to improve mobility efficiency, upgrade infrastructure services, and support urban expansion and economic activities through the construction of internal roads, stormwater and electrical networks, lighting systems, as well as the installation of signboards and communication systems. The implementation is planned over 24 months to elevate the zone's readiness to attract more projects.
