Sultan Meets UK Prime Minister on Bilateral Ties

His Majesty Sultan Hitham bin Tareq discussed with the Prime Minister of Britain ways to strengthen the bilateral relations between the two countries, particularly in the fields of technology, defense, security, and cultural cooperation, amidst challenging regional circumstances such as the situation in the Middle East. They emphasized the importance of joint cooperation to ensure the security of the region. The meeting also addressed the development of historical relations, the current trade exchange amounting to 1.7 billion pounds sterling, and ongoing coordination to face regional challenges and work toward reopening the Strait of Hormuz to commercial traffic. Both sides expressed their satisfaction with the visit aimed at enhancing cooperation and achieving the aspirations of both nations in various fields.
