Oman and UK sign AI and space agreements

The Sultanate of Oman and the United Kingdom signed a joint statement of intent to enhance cooperation in the fields of space and artificial intelligence in education during Sultan Haitham bin Tariq's visit to the UK. This includes exchanging expertise in space policies and scientific research, as well as the responsible use of artificial intelligence to support English language learning and assist teachers. A pilot project is planned in Omani schools focusing on developing students' speaking and writing skills, preparing them for the job market and the future of higher education, all while adhering to principles of safety and data protection.
