Oman at GRC Kuwait talks
The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Research and Innovation Authority, participated in the regional meeting of the Global Research Council for the Middle East and North Africa, held in Kuwait with Dr. Saif bin Abdullah Al Hadabi heading the Omani delegation. The meeting discussed curiosity-driven research and its role in advancing research and innovation ecosystems, as well as the importance of creating an environment in which researchers can explore new ideas without requiring practical applications or immediate commercial outcomes. Oman’s participation aims to strengthen cooperation and exchange expertise, as the country prepares to host the Council’s 16th annual meeting in 2028.
