Mubarak al-Barghouti, the brother of prisoner Marwan al-Barghouti, revealed that he was assaulted inside his solitary confinement cell. A guard fired a rubber bullet at his leg, causing injury and bleeding, though his health remains stable. Al-Barghouti confirmed that Marwan has been in solitary since October and is subjected to repeated violations, including physical assaults and isolation. He warned of escalating dangers to Marwan's life due to Israeli policies and ongoing violations against Palestinian prisoners. He called for urgent international and Arab action to protect the prisoners and end the abuses, amid criticism of the inadequacy of official Palestinian efforts.
