Al-Awlul Meets with Local Authority Officials in Northwest Jerusalem

Member of the Central Committee of Fatah, Mahmoud Aloul, emphasized that strengthening the resilience of Palestinians in Jerusalem and its surrounding areas is a national priority. This statement was made during a meeting with the heads of local councils in northwest Jerusalem. The meeting discussed the challenges imposed by occupation policies, such as Judaization and settlement expansion, and stressed the importance of supporting local authorities to reinforce the presence of residents on their land. They also highlighted the need to coordinate national efforts to counter occupation schemes aimed at altering the demographic and geographical fabric of the city.
