Palestine Center: Israel Attempts to Bypass Red Cross Prison Visit Decision
The Palestine Center and the Red Cross called for the resumption of family visits to prisoners after the repeal of a law that prevented it. This came amidst strikes and popular anger in Umm al-Fahm in protest against a visit by a extremist. Additionally, organizations condemned the situation in Gaza, where Israeli airstrikes have resulted in the martyrdom of four civilians and injuries to others, including a journalist. The death toll has risen to 11, among them the director of Jabalia police, amid escalating Israeli bombardments and assaults.
