Human rights and Palestinian sources have circulated information about a decision to deport Adel Abdul Fattah Al-Natour, a Palestinian from Gaza who has been residing in Damascus since 1992, after being detained for over 11 months. His family has not been informed of the charges against him or the legal basis for his detention. They were only told they have ten days to find a country willing to accept him before the deportation is carried out. The family confirms that there are no official documents proving that a deportation order has been issued. It was also noted that Al-Natour does not belong to organizations such as the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine – General Command, and he was previously one of the founders of the Islamic Jihad Movement in Gaza. Human rights groups and activists are launching campaigns to demand the suspension of his deportation, calling for transparency regarding the reasons for his detention and his legal status, and working to end the humanitarian crisis surrounding his case.
