The article explains that Al-Aqsa Mosque is entering a new phase of escalation, as efforts by the Israeli occupation and settler groups to impose Jewish religious rituals inside it intensify—particularly during the Jewish holiday season in September. These maneuvers include changes in the timing of incursions, such as attempting to open the mosque to settlers on Saturdays, increasing the duration of their visits, and using Jewish tools and traditions within the mosque. The goal is to establish a permanent Jewish religious presence and prepare for larger Judaization steps, such as the construction of the alleged Third Temple. Additionally, the management of the Islamic Waqf is being marginalized, and there are threats to impose direct Israeli control over the mosque. Field actions and protests are escalating against attempts to divide the space or transform the mosque into a shared Jewish site—moves that threaten the Islamic identity of Al-Aqsa and increase the risk of a new explosion that could threaten the mosque itself.
