The Municipality of Tira in Ramallah announced a legal step to document the damages suffered by the town's residents as a result of settler attacks, and called on those holding American passports or permanent residence in the U.S. to register their information if they have experienced assaults or property damage. This move aims to prepare a civil case in the United States against American institutions accused by the municipality of supporting the attacks. The registered data includes instances of direct assaults, property damage, or restrictions on access to land, with a lawyer available to cover the legal costs. These measures are part of the broader context of increasing settler attacks on Palestinians and their property in the West Bank.
