An investigative report from Gaza has revealed significant issues related to justice, integrity, and transparency in the distribution of cash aid to residents, especially in light of the absence of clear standards and effective communication channels. The investigation indicated that more than half of those surveyed believe that the level of fairness in the distribution is low, with weaknesses in distribution mechanisms and beneficiaries' awareness of the conditions and criteria. The report also showed that over 80% of recipients rely on international and UN aid agencies, but they face difficulties in accessing information or the responsible authorities, exposing them to exploitation and extortion. The suggestions include announcing clear standards, establishing a unified database, and improving communication and oversight mechanisms to ensure a more just and transparent distribution process.
