The article addresses the escalation of tensions between Iran and Israel in southern Lebanon. Iran has warned the United States that any large-scale Israeli attack on Tell al-Tahir, located in southeastern Lebanon and considered a major base for Hezbollah operations, will be met with a strong Iranian response. Reports indicated the presence of Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps elements with Hezbollah fighters at the site, and that Iran informed Washington through Oman that a comprehensive Israeli assault on the area would trigger a wide Iranian retaliation. At the same time, Israel continues to impose a blockade and support military operations to pressure Hezbollah, with Israeli sources warning that any significant escalation could prompt Hezbollah to launch rockets at civilian areas in Israel and raise the threat of returning to a full-scale war.
