Gaza Workers Seek Fuel from Waste
The article focuses on the efforts of Palestinian workers in the Nuseirat camp in the Gaza Strip to produce fuel from plastic waste using primitive tools, in order to address the ongoing shortage of energy sources. The workers operate under hazardous conditions, exposing themselves to toxic fumes and environmental damage caused by burning plastic through outdated methods, amidst restrictions on the entry of supplies and fuel crises that affect daily life. This initiative highlights the intense pressures faced by residents to meet their basic needs amid resource shortages, while risking significant health and environmental hazards.
