Guava Harvest Photos in Al-Mawasi
On September 3, 2026, farmers in the Gaza Strip, specifically in the Al-Mawaisi area west of Khan Younis, harvested guava amid a decline in production caused by a shortage of agricultural land, seeds, fertilizers, fuel, and irrigation equipment as a result of ongoing war. According to a report from the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations in August, only 3% of the land in the sector remains suitable for farming and unaffected by the war, highlighting the significant impact of the crisis on local agricultural production.
