US opens inquiry into Iranian deaths at wedding
U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance commented on the raid that targeted a wedding celebration in southern Iran. Analyses indicated that the explosion resulted from a direct hit by American munitions, leading to the deaths of five people and injuring around 70 others, including two children. Vance confirmed that an investigation is underway to determine the details of the incident, emphasizing that the United States does not target civilians and is working to learn from any potential mistakes. While Washington has not officially claimed responsibility, it has expressed concern and is investigating the incident in the context of ongoing escalation between the United States and Iran.
