The article discussed a report stating that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu refused to review the military investigations into the events of October 7. He did not hold any deliberations about them with military leaders or the General Staff. The report also noted that the army had suggested to Netanyahu to review the investigations, but he showed no interest in doing so, and his office did not request official copies of the investigations. The report clarified that Netanyahu used the term “misjudgment” in his deliberations, knowing that the reality indicates his decisions aimed to prevent a larger mistake. It also emphasized that he has a documented timeline reflecting his communication with security agencies on the morning of October 7, but he did not officially review the details of the investigations, raising questions about how this might have affected his assessment of the events.
