Trump Indicates Possible Strike on Iranian Mountain
Statements by U.S. President Donald Trump regarding the potential targeting of the "Jebel Ras Al-Fas" site in Iran, amid escalating tensions between the United States and Iran. He confirmed that Washington is aware of Tehran's movements and is delivering strong strikes, and that it currently controls the Strait of Hormuz without any mines present. There are also indications of alternative routes for the maritime passage, such as passing oil through Syria. These statements come at a time when the region is moving toward establishing new pipelines that reduce dependence on the Strait of Hormuz for oil exports, alongside ongoing American efforts to ensure the passage of oil tankers through the strait and to open alternative routes for transporting Iraqi oil to the Mediterranean via Syrian territory.
